The critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Kertamukti 03 are still relatively low. This condition is reflected in the use of learning media that are less engaging and have not optimally encouraged students to analyze, connect information, and solve problems during the learning process. This issue highlights the need to develop more engaging and interactive learning media that are appropriate to the characteristics of elementary school students, enabling them to gain learning experiences that stimulate critical thinking skills. Therefore, this study was conducted to develop an e-comic as a learning medium for the water cycle topic as an alternative medium to support the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. This study aimed to develop an e-comic learning medium on the water cycle, evaluate its feasibility and practicality, and measure its effectiveness in improving students' critical thinking skills. The study employed a research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects were 35 fifth-grade students at SDN Kertamukti 03. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretests and posttests. The data were analyzed using percentages and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the e-comic obtained validation scores of 97.5% from media experts, 100% from language experts, and 94.4% from subject matter experts, all of which were categorized as highly feasible. The N-Gain score was 0.71, categorized as high. The e-comic also received a 92.3% response from teachers and a 91.25% response from students. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed e-comic is feasible, practical, and effective for improving students' critical thinking skills in learning the water cycle.
