Physical condition and anthropometric characteristics play a crucial role in optimizing volleyball performance. This study evaluated the anthropometric profile and physical condition of 26 PBV Yupiter athletes to design targeted training programs. Parameters measured using descriptive quantitative test methods included age, weight, height, BMI, handgrip strength, arm and abdominal endurance, agility, speed, flexibility, and leg power. Results showed an average age of 20.19 ± 1.17 years, weight of 57.96 ± 7.19 kg, height of 172.76 ± 7.08 cm, and BMI of 19.40 ± 2.02 kg/m². For physical conditions, right handgrip strength (36.12 ± 7.12 kg), shuttle run (13.75 ± 0.89 s), and 30m sprint (4.45 ± 0.31 s) fell into the moderate category. Conversely, left handgrip strength (30.19 ± 7.29 kg), push-ups (30.73 ± 11.47 reps), and sit-ups (29.30 ± 9.34 reps) were categorized as poor. Flexibility scored good (18.08 ± 4.75 cm), and vertical jump averaged 63.08 ± 9.56 cm. In conclusion, priority improvement is required for left handgrip strength, as well as arm and abdominal muscle endurance. Meanwhile, flexibility and leg explosive power showed relatively better achievements.
