Pengaruh Penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada Materi Analisis Data terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI di SMK Muhammadiyah Salomekko

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using Student Worksheets (LKPD) on student learning outcomes in data analysis material for eleventh-grade students at SMK Muhammadiyah Salomekko. The demand for 21st-century competencies requires vocational students to possess strong analytical thinking and data literacy. However, learning practices often rely on conventional methods, which contributes to students' low analytical skills and highlights the limited availability of problem-oriented interactive teaching materials. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a One Group Pretest-Posttest design was employed. The sample consisted of 24 students selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected via cognitive tests, student response questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics and inferential statistics utilizing a Paired Sample t-test. The descriptive analysis results showed an increase in the class average score from 55.29 in the pretest (moderate category) to 85.04 in the posttest (high category). The hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample t-test yielded a t-count value of 8.388 with a significance (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Furthermore, students' affective response toward the use of LKPD fell into the positive category with an average percentage of 76.08%. These findings prove that the implementation of LKPD has a positive, effective, and significant effect on improving student learning outcomes in data analysis.
