Pengembangan E-Modul Berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada Materi Fluida Statis di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Medan

This study aims to develop a physics e-module based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on static fluid material for eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 10 Medan. The novelty of this study lies in the development of a CTL-based e-module that integrates contextual phenomena, learning videos, interactive exercises, and evaluations into a single digital learning medium. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model developed by Sivasailam Thiagarajan, consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages, but limited to the develop stage. The developed product was evaluated based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness aspects. The material expert validation result obtained a percentage of 93.61% categorized as very valid, while media expert validation obtained 78.67% categorized as very valid. The practicality test by teachers obtained 92.86%, while student responses reached 88.07%, both categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of the product was shown by the increase in the average pretest score from 50.93 to 91.58 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.82 in the high category. These results indicate that the CTL-based physics e-module is feasible and effective as an innovative teaching material in physics learning on static fluid material.
