Pengembangan Buku Pengayaan Fisika Terintegrasi Etno-STEM melalui Konteks Permainan Tradisional Gasing dan Pletokan Bambu

This study aimed to produce a final product in the form of an Ethno-STEM integrated physics enrichment book through the context of traditional spinning top (gasing) and bamboo popgun (pletokan bambu) games, to determine the feasibility of the developed enrichment book, and to investigate teachers' and students' perceptions of the book. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Four-D (4D) model, consisting of Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. However, the study was limited to the development stage and small-group trials. The research subjects consisted of two material experts, two media experts, one physics teacher, and 34 students of class XI F3 at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. Data were collected through interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, and teacher and student perception questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis with percentage techniques. The results showed that the Ethno-STEM integrated physics enrichment book based on the traditional games of gasing and pletokan bambu was successfully developed and was categorized as highly feasible based on the validation results from material and media experts. The teacher perception assessment obtained an average score of 92%, which was categorized as highly feasible, while the students' perception assessment obtained an average score of 88%, which was also categorized as highly feasible. These findings indicate that the developed enrichment book is appropriate to be used as a supplementary learning resource for physics learning in senior high schools and can serve as an alternative learning medium that connects physics concepts with local culture through the Ethno-STEM approach.
